I grew up in rural Florida, where I was known as the neighborhood pet sitter. My sisters and I were notorious for helping stray animals. We ended up with 5 cats and 1 dog, and even helped raise baby opposums! Right after marrying my husband, we adopted 2 rescue dogs: Maximus and Moka. After graduating from UTHealth in 2016, we moved to Birmingham where I have worked in women’s health research for the past 8 years. Currently, we still have Maximus, 2 older puppies named Yuna and Sage, and a cat named Tobias as well as a bunch of chickens. In my free time, you can find me trail running or hiking with both of my sons and dogs!

In 2024, I decided to form Wag with Maggie. My goals are twofold: to provide stress free and enriching environments for pets and to be a dependable, trustworthy source for pet sitting and walking. As a Fear Free Certified professional, I use only gentle methods that don’t cause fear, stress, or anxiety in pets. In the future, I hope to become a dog trainer to help families who are facing challenges with their pets.

I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Sincerely,

WELCOME!
